What We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, phone number, email address and your message.
  • Emails and calls you send us, and the information in them.

Information collected automatically

  • Form security: when you send the contact form, we record the date, your IP address and your browser type to protect the form from spam and abuse.
  • Server logs: like every website, our server records the IP address of each visit, the page requested, the date and time and your browser type. We use these only for security and to fix problems.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking on this website. We do not ask for sensitive information through this website, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Why We Use It

  • To answer your questions and requests, including product and warranty questions.
  • To keep our website and systems secure.

We only use your information for the purpose we collected it for, unless you consent to another use or the law allows it. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Our online store, linked from this website, is run on Shopify and has its own privacy policy and cookies.

Who We Share It With

We share your information only with suppliers who need it to provide their service to us. Each may use it only for that purpose.

  • Our hosting provider stores our website and the messages sent through our contact form.
  • Microsoft 365 hosts the mailbox where contact form notifications and your emails are delivered.

The fonts and other files used by our website are served from our own server; your browser does not contact third parties when you visit our pages. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example in response to a court order.

Information Stored Outside Quebec

Our servers and our suppliers may be located outside Quebec. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Quebec. Before any such transfer, we assess whether the information will receive adequate protection, taking into account its sensitivity, the purpose of the transfer, the protection measures in place and the legal framework where it will be held. We use suppliers whose terms require them to protect it.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, then we securely destroy or anonymize it.

  • Correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
  • Withdraw your consent to its use at any time.
  • Ask us to stop distributing your information or to de-index any link to it, where the law allows.
